– Littleton, NH – At a recent Littleton Coin Company presentation, two employees and their families were especially pleased to receive the annual Rena Hood and Bart McKinney scholarships. The scholarships of $2,000 each were established in 1986, in honor of two long-time employees who were keenly interested in community service and education. This year's award winners were Joanna Sullivan, daughter of Diana Sullivan, and Rebecca Peters, daughter of Melissa Peters.

Joanna Sullivan is pursuing a career as a licensed psychologist. She graduated in May from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. In September she'll begin her doctor of psychology program at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She hopes to specialize in PTSD/trauma and work for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

Rebecca Peters from Landaff, NH was the 2016 valedictorian at Lisbon Regional High School. During her time there she was president of the National Honor Society, played varsity soccer and participated in TSA, band and youth leadership. Rebecca has been accepted into the honors program at the University of New Haven, where she'll major in forensic science and biology. Littleton Coin appreciates the efforts of these stellar students and their parents and wishes them all the best in their future studies.
