Nicknamed “Old Ironsides” for her seemingly invincible hull, she was undefeated in the Quasi War with France and the Barbary Wars before capturing further glory in the War of 1812 by defeating five British warships. And now, she’s honored in rich color on the reverse of this 2021 Brilliant Uncirculated coin!

Measuring just over 1ó" in diameter and struck in 1 oz. of 33.3% silver. Issued as $1 legal tender for Niue, the coins are strictly limited in mintage to just 999 pieces each – and are available exclusively through Littleton. Each reverse is colorized with a piece of licensed artwork, while the common obverse depicts Queen Elizabeth II.
