The popular Ships of War series concludes with the HMS Dreadnought! Launched in 1906, the Dreadnought inaugurated the modern era in battleship design. Armed solely with a uniform battery of 12" guns and capable of achieving speeds of up to 21 knots thanks to steam turbines, the Dreadnought saw action in WWI by sinking a German submarine. Christened with a name that means "fear nothing," the historic ship is now honored in rich color on the reverse of this 2021 Brilliant Uncirculated coin!

Measuring just over 1ó" in diameter, each dramatic coin in the series is struck in 1 oz. of 33.3% silver. Issued as $1 legal tender for Niue, the coins in this series are strictly limited in mintage to just 999 pieces – and are available exclusively through Littleton.
