1981 Nepal Silver 100 Rupee

Only 18,000 of these high-denomination 100 Rupee silver coins were struck by Nepal in 1981 – to celebrate the first World Food Day sponsored by the UN's Food and Agricultural Organization. The reverse of the 50% silver coin depicts a farmer working a field, the World Food Day logo and nepal. The obverse bears a traditional design with Nepali inscriptions.
