Customer Reviews
Constantius II, the middle son of Constantine the Great, and his second wife, used his military skill and devotion to duty to become the sole ruler of the Roman Empire. The sheer size and frequent raids on all portions of the Empire meant that Constantius II needed someone to share the burden of ruling. He appointed his young cousin, Julian. After ruling for 24 years, Constantius died of a fever.
