Customer Reviews
Constantine I rose to become one of Rome`s greatest emperors. Believing that a holy vision he saw before the Battle of Milvian Bridge was responsible for his victory, Constantine made Christianity the official state religion and eventually converted to it himself. Toward the end of his life, Constantine rebuilt Byzantium and gave it the name Constantinople, making it the capital of the empire. This coin was struck at the mint of Londinum, later known as London.
