Customer Reviews

For the first time we’re offering this father and son Bronze Antoninianus set in Very Fine condition. It honors Tetricus I who made his son, Tetricus II, co-emperor of Gaul in A.D. 270. Their reign lasted four years before Roman Emperor Aurelian defeated them in battle and brought them back to Rome in chains. Surprisingly, both were treated kindly. Tetricus I reportedly lived to a ripe age while his son was granted a seat in the Roman Senate. Expand your ancients collection with this father and son set of 3rd-century bronze coins!
