Hand struck over 1,700 years ago, these well-preserved ancient bronze coins depicting Emperor Victorinus are surprisingly affordable. Victorinus briefly ruled the Gallic-Roman provinces of western Europe from A.D. 269-271 when they existed separately from Rome. Rising through the ranks from soldier to emperor, Victorinus was an able military leader who fended off both internal and external threats. But his downfall was his penchant for pursuing married women, and he was killed in A.D. 271 by one of his own officers when he propositioned one too many wives.

Your bronze Antoninianus in desirable Very Fine/Extra Fine condition is presented in a colorful, informative Littleton Showpak® holder with a certificate of authenticity. Add this ancient Gallic-Roman coin to your collection today.
