Customer Reviews
Pontius Pilate was officially responsible for finding Christ guilty. Unable to convince the crowd of his uncertainty about Christ`s guilt, Pilate reluctantly sentenced him to be crucified, though he told the crowd, "I am innocent of this man`s blood, see to it yourselves" (Matthew 27:24). The obverse of this coin shows three bound ears of barley and the reverse shows a simpulum, a small ladle used to pour liquid offerings during sacrifices.
