Customer Reviews
Marcus Aurelius Antoninus was nicknamed Caracalla because of his fondness for a cloak of the same name. He and his brother Geta assumed joint rule after the death of their father, Emperor Septimus Severus. A year later Caracalla gained full power by having Geta and many prominent Romans put to death. Eventually, he was murdered, too.
