Celebrate critical moments from America’s founding with Littleton’s exclusive series of silver-plated copper bars! The newest 2021 issue depicts the Battle of Bunker Hill – the first major battle during the 1775-1776 Siege of Boston. As a group of colonial militiamen awaited the arrival of British troops atop Breed’s Hill in Boston, legend holds that, knowing their supply of ammunition was limited, Colonel William Prescott told his troops, “don’t fire until you see the whites of their eyes!” Eventually, the colonists’ ammunition ran out and they were forced to retreat. Although British soldiers gained a tactical victory, it proved that the colonists’ efforts wouldn’t easily be extinguished.

Each piece in this exclusive 13-bar series is crafted from 100 grams of copper and layered in 99.9% precious silver. This seventh issue in the series recalls the Siege of Boston, enhanced in full color, with an engraved image of George Washington at right. The back features Littleton’s exclusive eagle and shield design. You can also get the earlier issues. Honor America’s journey to freedom with this dynamic collection!
