1994 "1944: Road to Victory" Stamp Sheet

This beautifully detailed stamp sheet from the United States Postal Service honors the courageous men and women of the Allied Forces who valiantly fought back the advances of tyranny around the globe during WWII.

In Mint Never Hinged condition, it includes two sets of 10 different stamps, with each set surrounding an annotated world map. It was issued in 1994 to mark the 50th anniversary of such important events as the D-Day Landing in Normandy, the naval Battle of Leyte Gulf in the Philippines, the Allied liberation of Paris and of Rome, plus 6 more.
