1983-S Los Angeles Olympiad Silver Dollar

The U.S. first commemorative silver dollar issued since 1900. Honored the upcoming 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic games, and featured a discus thrower, recalling USA's silver and bronze medals in the event.
