Customer Reviews

Produced at the main U.S. Mint in Philadelphia, the 1954 Franklin half dollar is from the last U.S. coin series to be struck every year in 90% silver. It also represented the first time that a non-president was depicted on a circulating U.S. coin. Benjamin Franklin contributed highly to the fortunes of the American colonies and the birth of the nation. Appropriately, the reverse of the coin features the revered Liberty Bell which hung at Independence Hall in Philadelphia.
