The informative, illustrated display card recalls major operations of the U.S. Marines during WWII – including Guadalcanal, Tarawa, Saipan, the Solomon Islands, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. At these and other locations, the Marines prevailed in amphibious landings against heavy fortifications and defenses.
