1936 York County, Maine Tercentenary Silver Half Dollar

Issued to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of York County, the first county in Maine. It centered around the town of Saco, which itself was formed around a wooden stockade known as Brown's Garrison. The obverse depicts a stockade, and the reverse features the York County seal.
