Customer Reviews
Over 28 million Mercury dimes were struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1927, a substantial mintage for the 1920s. While most have been lost to silver melts over the years, enough remain in existence today that the 1927 dimes are still affordably priced in all grades. Struck in 90% silver, these coins were produced during the year that Charles Lindbergh successfully completed the first solo non-stop flight from New York to Paris, and George Herman "Babe" Ruth hit 60 home runs.
