The reverse features their ship, the Mayflower, which sailed for 65 days, carrying 102 passengers and crew before reaching the New World. The design includes the dual dates of 1620-1920.

Of the original 200,112 silver Pilgrim half dollars issued over 100 years ago, 48,000 were returned to the mint and melted, leaving a mere 152,112 for collectors.
