The Philadelphia Mint produced 405,000 Indian Head $10 gold pieces in 1912, the year the "unsinkable" Titanic ocean liner slammed into an iceberg on her maiden voyage and sank - claiming 1,590 lives out of the 2,340 passengers and crew.
