1912-D Liberty Head Nickel

Only in 1912, the last year of the Liberty Head nickel series, were these coins struck at the branch U.S. Mints in Denver and San Francisco. The 1912-D nickel is prized by collectors as the only "D" mint mark coin in the series, as well as the final year of issue.
