Customer Reviews

The 1907-D Liberty Head $5 gold piece was struck during only the second year of operation of the Denver Mint. The 1907-D would also be just one of two Denver issues of the $5 gold Liberty Head (no 1908-D coins were struck, and the design was replaced partway through 1908). Circulating throughout the western part of the country, the 1907-D $5 gold piece played a significant role in the region's early 20th century commerce.
