Except for the 1895 Morgan dollar (of which no regular-issue coins are known to exist today), the 1901 Morgan silver dollar is the rarest Philadelphia Mint Morgan in Uncirculated condition! While a good number of 1901 Morgans exist in lower Circulated grades, they command a considerable premium due to the great scarcity of the issue in mint-state grades.
