1897 Morgan Silver Dollar F

By Philadelphia Mint standards, production of the 1897 Morgan silver dollar was quite small with a mintage of about 2.8 million coins. Yet this issue is not overly scarce today and is affordable in all grades. The 1897 silver dollar is also usually well struck with attractive luster. It is a very nice choice for a year set of Morgan silver dollars, and a precious memento of the year the Hawaiian Islands were annexed by the United States!
