Customer Reviews

After high Morgan silver dollar production at the Philadelphia Mint, this main U.S. mint facility struck only about one million Morgans in 1892 - by far its lowest output to that date. The 1892 Philadelphia issue is quite scarce in Uncirculated grades, as most 1892 silver dollars were placed into circulation. This popular Morgan dollar was struck the year that identical Charles Barber designs began on U.S. dimes, quarters and half dollars.
