1875 Liberty Seated Half Dollar

Struck in 90% silver at the Philadelphia Mint, the 1875 Liberty Seated half dollar bears a famous design by Christian Gobrecht that was also used on half dimes, dimes, quarters and silver dollars. Liberty is depicted sitting on a rock, holding a liberty cap on a pole in her left hand, and resting her right hand upon a shield.
