Customer Reviews
This vintage bronze Indian Head cent features a doubled date, which is most visible in the 9. Obverse depicts Liberty in a Native American headdress. Reverse of coin features oak wreath and shield. On January 1, 1869, James B. Longacre died suddenly, and William Barber replaced him as Chief Engraver. The year also saw the opening of the famed Carson City Mint.
