Customer Reviews

The short-lived Capped Bust half dime was issued from 1829-1837. Struck in 89.24% silver at the Philadelphia Mint, these coins depict Liberty wearing a cloth cap secured by a band inscribed liberty. She is surrounded by 13 stars representing the original colonies, and the date is seen below her. The reverse features an eagle, with a shield on its breast, perched on a branch and clutching arrows.
