Customer Reviews

Get a medieval scyphate (cup-shaped) coin depicting Christ! These Byzantine coins were hand struck in a silver alloy over 800 years ago in the infamous A.D. 1195-1203 reign of Alexius III, who looted the treasury and disappeared when the 4th Great Crusade approached Constantinople. Each coin’s obverse features Christ, while the reverse shows Emperor Alexius with St. Constantine. Still well preserved!
