Featured on this note is Captain Jeremiah O’Brien who, with his crew of colonists aboard the lumber sloop, Unity, successfully captured the armed British schooner, HMS Margaretta. Following their leader’s death in combat, the British sailors surrendered. Also available in this mini series is the first issue. It honors the Capture of Fort Ticonderoga overlooking Lake Champlain, New York, on May 10, 1776.
