These popular coins are part of the U.S. Mint’s program to celebrate American innovations and innovators from each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. The 2025 Innovation dollars honor the following states, individuals and achievements:

• Arkansas – Raye Montague, the first female U.S. Naval engineer and the first person to design a ship by computer
• Michigan – Ransolm Olds and the first auto assembly line
• Florida – NASA Space Shuttle and the Kennedy Space Center, which launched the Apollo 11 mission that put the first man on the Moon
• Texas – NASA’s Mission Control Center and its role in supporting the International Space Station
