  • General Henry "Hap" Arnold – Father of the Air Force – Arnold learned to fly from the Wright brothers while in the Signal Corps. He pioneered the airplane radio's use to report observations, organized aerial fire patrol in the West and became Chief of the Army Air Forces, overseeing WWII air campaigns in the Pacific & European theaters.
  • General Omar N. Bradley – Nicknamed the GI's general – Bradley looked out for GIs serving under him. He commanded soldiers in North Africa, Sicily and watched from a ship in the Atlanticas his men waded ashore during the D-Day invasion of Normandy.
