1989-D Congress Bicentennial Half Dollar

Authorized by President Ronald Reagan, this Denver Mint issue was struck to honor the 200th anniversary of Congress operating under the U.S. Constitution. The Statue of Freedom is shown on the obverse of this Choice Uncirculated, MS-63 coin, while the reverse shows a view of the Capitol building.
