Customer Reviews

The early 20th-century 1902 Barber half dollar was struck in 90% silver at the main U.S. Mint in Philadelphia, the birthplace of America's coinage, where U.S. coin production dates back to 1793. Barber half dollars are named for their designer, Charles E. Barber, and feature the profile of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap. The word liberty is found on a small band, or ribbon, above her forehead. The reverse is an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States.
