Customer Reviews

Partway through the Morgan silver dollar's first year of 1878, the eagle design on the reverse was reworked from 8 tail feathers to 7 feathers (to more accurately portray an eagle). These are the first 1878 Morgan dollars originally struck with the 7 tail feather reverse and with the top arrow feather parallel (PAF) with the so-called "flat breasted" or 2nd Reverse. Now over 125 years old, this first-year-of-issue Morgan is a historic issue in the series!
