1874 Liberty Seated Half Dollar, Arrows

Struck in 90% fine silver at the Philadelphia Mint, the 1874 Liberty Seated half dollars feature arrows on each side of the date. The arrows were added to some 1873 half dollars and to all 1874 half dollars to denote a slight increase in coin weight from 12.44 grams to 12.50 grams.
