This handsome 90% silver tribute recalls the 200th anniversary of the laying of the White House cornerstone! On October 13, 1792 a group of Freemasons met in the newly established U.S. capital city of Washington, D.C. to lay the cornerstone for the Executive Mansion – home of America’s president! The location was chosen with help from first president George Washington, but the “White House” was not ready for occupancy until 8 years later during the tenure of John Adams.

The obverse features the North portico, while the reverse depicts James Hoban, White House architect, and the original entrance door. Each coin comes in a handsome display case with an illustrated history card. Get this prized U.S. commemorative silver dollar today.
