March 24, 2015 – Littleton, NH – Local Cub Scout Pack 209 recently paid Littleton Coin Company a visit to learn more about the hobby of coin collecting. The group of nine enthusiastic second graders were greeted by company president David Sundman, who was once a Pack 209 member himself. The group was able to see a display of David's scouting memorabilia and had an opportunity to share their own collections. They then began building a set of Lincoln cents and used a magnifier to learn how to spot the dates and mint marks on each coin. The scouts left with Littleton Coin folders and other tools to help them earn their collecting merit badge. "It was a real treat to see their smiling faces, and to have an opportunity to introduce them to a hobby that could last a lifetime," said David Sundman.
David Sundman shows his scouting memorabilia display from when he was a Cub Scout in Pack 209.
