June 25, 2014 – Littleton, NH – Cheers and applause were heard at Littleton Coin's recent company picnic as children of two employees received the annual Rena Hood and Bart McKinney scholarships. The scholarships of $2,000 each were established in 1986, in honor of two long-time employees who were keenly interested in community service and education. This year's awards went to graduates Benjamin LaFlam and Alexis Morisette.
Benjamin, the son of Littleton Coin employee Cindy LaFlam, graduated from White Mountains Regional High School. He plans to attend White Mountain Community College and then Plymouth State University, where he will complete his studies in Information Technology. Alexis, the daughter of LCC employee Melinda Morisette, graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy and plans to attend Arizona State University to pursue studies in Life and Environmental sciences with a goal of becoming a wildlife biologist. Littleton Coin is proud to support the efforts of these hardworking students and their parents and wishes them all the best in their endeavors.
