Littleton Employees wear pink hair in honor of breast cancer awareness
Littleton Coin Employees "Think Pink" for Breast Cancer!
Events raise $1800 for local breast cancer initiatives
LITTLETON, NH – October 17, 2012. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Littleton Coin Company once again partnered with Fresh Salon & Day Spa to raise funds for local breast cancer initiatives. The events took place at the company, where hair stylists placed pink extensions in the hair of 114 of the company's employees. Participants made a donation for each extension and a "Think Pink" bake sale was also held. These employee efforts raised $900. Littleton Coin then matched the funds for a grand total of $1800! All of the proceeds raised at these events will go to the Littleton Regional Hospital trust to help local women receive affordable mammograms. Littleton Coin representative Jill Kimball said, "The response to these events is always astounding. It's a fun way for us to support the community and the cause."
