Littleton Employees wear pink hair in honor of breast cancer awareness
LCC employees donned pink hair to show they care!
Sold-out event raises $2500 for local women
LITTLETON, NH – October 19, 2011. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Littleton Coin Company partnered with Fresh Salon & Day Spa to raise $2,500 for local breast cancer initiatives! The event took place at the company, where stylists from Fresh placed pink extensions in the hair of over 120 LCC employees. Employees donated $6 for each extension, with the company contributing another $6 each. As a result, the event sold out in record time!
100% of the proceeds raised at the event will go to the Littleton Regional Hospital trust to help local women receive mammograms they may not otherwise be able to afford. Littleton representative, Jill Kimball, said she was "thrilled with the turn out" and added, "Nearly 40% of our employees participated in the event. Both men and women were eager to show their support to this great local cause."
