The Presidential dollar series, which began in 2007, honors U.S. presidents from
George Washington to modern office holders - with 4 issues released each year.
The common reverse features the Statue of Liberty. They are the first regular-issue
U.S. dollars in over 200 years to bear edge lettering. Starting with the 2012 issues,
Presidential dollars were minted in limited quantities for collectors only! Now this
popular series is drawing to a close with only a few more official issues left, so if you haven't started collecting or are missing coins get them here - while you still can!

Pre-Release Ordering Information
For your convenience, Littleton will now accept your pre-release order(s) for Presidential Dollars – slightly ahead of the U.S. Mint release schedule. For example, although the Taylor dollar was not scheduled to be released by the U.S. Mint until mid-November 2009, Littleton began accepting your pre-release orders for it in mid-August 2009.
Littleton expects to receive stock and be able to ship your Presidential dollars within 6 weeks of the official U.S. Mint release date. (You may actually see a new issue in your pocket change before you receive your shipment from Littleton, because the U.S. Mint releases each new dollar to the Federal Reserve System before they are sent to us.)
NOTE: If you are also ordering other items which are in stock, your order will be split into two separate orders to speed up delivery of your in-stock items. Separate Shipping, Handling and Guaranteed Delivery charges apply to each order. Orders with both "P" and "D" dollar issues will be sent to you together in one shipment.
