Series 1963B $1 Federal Reserve Star Note

This Series 1963B $1 bill is the first with the revised obligation, THIS NOTE IS LEGAL TENDER FOR ALL DEBTS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE. When a note is damaged during manufacture, it is replaced by one with a star beside the serial number. These are much scarcer than regular issues. A portrait of George Washington is on the face. The back shows the Great Seal. With green seal and serial numbers, and San Francisco Federal Reserve District Seal. Granahan-Barr signatures.
