This 2021 Uncirculated six-coin set in the Jamul Nation's popular Native American series honors the Pueblo Nation. It evolved from a nomadic, hunter-gatherer culture to a largely farm-based civilization with a sophisticated irrigation system. The common reverse design features the sun, the symbol of the four cardinal directions, seasons of the year, periods of each day and seasons of life. The sun's center stands for life itself. Each obverse shows detailed images uniquely associated with the Pueblo daily life:

  • – pitcher with traditional geometric designs
  • – a kachina, one of over 500 divine and ancestral spirits
  • 10¢ – dancer performing sacred eagle dance
  • 25¢ – artist painting a kachina
  • 50¢ – homes made of adobe and stone
  • $1 – Chief Santiago Naranjo governed the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico in the early 20th century

The Jamul Nation is officially recognized as a sovereign nation by the U.S. government and is legally authorized to issue its own commemorative coins, including this meticulously designed set honoring the Pueblo. It comes in a colorfully illustrated display card, and mintage is limited to 25,000 sets. Order today!
