Accent your collection with these scarce, museum-quality bronze coins struck under brothers-turned-rebel leaders! Thanks to a special hoard purchase, you can own two hard-to-come-by Centenionalis coins in Near Mint State condition – one of Magnentius and the other Decentius.
Magnentius rose through the military to become a field commander of imperial guards in the West. In January A.D. 350, he gained control of an area from modern-day Britain to Italy. Later he named Decentius (his brother, or relative) as Caesar. The two rebels planned to unite their armies, but military actions went against them, and they took their own lives a few days apart.
Given their short rules, and that Constantius II withdrew the rebels' coinage and replaced it after the rebellion, it's no wonder their coins are difficult to find today. Presented in 2" x 2" flips with stories of each ruler, this set offers you the 1.50 prestige of owning museum-quality hoard coins with a great story. Supplies are limited, so don't wait to order!
