The 1904 Barber half dollar was struck in 90% silver at the main U.S. Mint in Philadelphia. This half dollar series of 1892-1915 is named for its designer, Charles E. Barber, whose initial b can be found at the truncation of Liberty`s neck. Liberty is portrayed wearing a Phrygian cap and a wreath of laurel. The reverse is an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States, depicting a heraldic eagle grasping an olive branch and arrows. Get the historic 1904 Barber half dollar today.
