1903-S Barber Silver Half Dollar

Struck in 90% silver at the San Francisco Mint during the very early 20th century, the 1903-S Barber half dollar is a precious keepsake from an eventful period in American history. In June of 1903, the Ford Motor Company was incorporated and began selling its first autos. In autumn, the Boston team of the American league defeated the Pittsburgh team of the National league in the first baseball World Series. In December, Orville and Wilbur Wright achieved a 59-second flight in a motor-driven airplane.
