1894 Liberty Head Nickel
$57.50 to $84.00
Philadelphia Mint
Description
Less than 5.5 million Liberty Head nickels were struck in 1894, a small mintage for such a widely used coin. The years of issue for the Liberty Head series, 1883-1912, were the heyday of America's 5¢ coins. "Five & Dime" stores flourished. Products from soda to candy to beer were priced at 5¢. And a wide variety of amusements cost a nickel - from a ticket to the nickelodeon theater, to a ride on a carousel, to a coin-operated music machine. Get the historic, low-mintage 1894 nickel today!
