The back of this handsome large-size $50 Federal Reserve Note commemorates this engineering wonder and shows the symbolic figure of Panama standing between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Measuring 7 3/8" x 3 1/8", it features the first and only large-size $50 Federal Reserve Note design, and marks the first time notes were issued to Federal Reserve Banks for distribution.
