Here’s a great value and a gold coin no collector should be without – a $10 Liberty Head from the Dixieland mint of New Orleans! We were recently able to handpick these Mint State and Near Mint State 1894-O $10 gold pieces for eye appeal. They offer an exceptional combination of quality and value, as 1894-O’s in higher Mint State grades command several thousand dollars. Now, you can affordably enjoy the allure of scarce gold and the romance of the historic New Orleans Mint!

After the Civil War, $10 gold pieces were minted only sporadically at New Orleans. From 1888-1906, only about 3 of every 100 Liberty Head $10 coins produced were struck there. And only about 4% of $10 Liberty Heads struck during 1894 bear New Orleans “O” mint marks. Many coins were also lost to the melting pots after FDR’s 1933 Gold Recall Order and during periods of high bullion prices. So few New Orleans $10 gold pieces exist today in this well-preserved condition.

Each coin is handpicked by our experts for quality and certified. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a scarce $10 gold piece struck over 125 years ago at the former New Orleans Mint!
