Highly lustrous medium brown high points seemingly float upon rich red highlights in the fields and protected design areas. A rare and popular issue, especially in Gem MS65 as here, struck late in the year after James Barton Longacre's tiny initial "L" was added to the ribbon behind the Indian princess's neck. Boldly struck and undeniably nice!
